The group share and talk about some of their favourite poems in a relaxed setting.

They also entertain the members at Christmas Parties

Poem written and performed for u3a Christmas Party to celebrate the diversity of this village organisation

In Rowlands Castle's leafy lanes
u3a groups with various aims
Meet, and each month we come to see
A speaker booked by Rosemary.

It started when young Kevin said
 "Let's form a u3a !"  He led.
The spark became a glowing flame
And u3a soon gained in fame.

Each month the Coffee Club now meets.
Castle Inn cakes, delicious treats!
While Maisie brews the finest stuff,
The Coffee Club can't get enough.

So here we gather warm and bright,
Revelling in this festive light.
Plates are well stacked and spirits thrive,
And Sue's quiz keeps our brains alive.

In all our groups we value friends
And thereby meet u3a's ends.
So thanks Committee, raise a cheer
For one more splendid active year.
