The group meets monthly on the second Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm and is hosted at the home of one of the group.

One member acts as director each time, selecting a play from the Havant library list and casting the parts. We break halfway through the reading for refreshments provided by the host.

We have read a wide selection of two or three act plays, ranging from the more serious (like Ibsen) through comedies to completely ridiculous farces! Recently we have read plays by authors Alan Ayckbourn, John Osborne, Michael Frayne and Kenneth Horne.

Nothing is taken too seriously, it’s very sociable and we share a lot of laughs together so why not come and join us?
