Captain Charlotte Rogerson On completion of her history degree at Warwick University Charlotte Rogerson qualified as a secondary school teacher, while at the same time going through the selection process to join the Army and attend Officer training at Sandhurst. She is now an Education Officer in the Army. Charlotte began her Army career at Edinburgh Castle and then became a Platoon Commander at the Army Foundation College at Harrogate and is currently based at Worthy Down in Winchester where she trains other potential officer candidates before they go off to Sandhurst. During her first few years in the Army she has been to Nepal to recruit Ghurkhas, Saudia Arabia to teach English, the Falklands to assist on battlefield tours and has also taken part in the MDS (Marathon des Sables) in the Moroccan desert – a very gruelling experience.
