On the morning of 3rd December we will be visiting Stansted House after it has been beautifully decorated for the festive season.
This is an ‘upstairs, downstairs’ experience where we will be guided through the House and admire the traditional decorations.
We will learn about how the Earls of Bessborough celebrated Christmas and discover more about the Queen Mother’s visit in December 1939 before moving downstairs to learn about the servants experiences during the festive season.
